Background & Qualifications
I hold honours degrees in both International Business (Dublin City University) and Psychology (Dublin Business School), a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy awarded with Distinction from the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) and a Certificate in Motivational Interviewing. I have also completed courses in specialised disciplines including assertiveness training, communications and presentation skills, among others, and I am a graduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
Having spent years working in fast paced, high stakes corporate environments in both the tech and financial industries, my unique blend of professional experience and academic qualifications have enabled me to develop a deep understanding of personal and organisational psychological theory and the complex realities of the challenges in integrating these tenets in a real life context.
I am dedicated to coaching my clients to achieving their highest potential and imparting practical skills and strategies for realising personal and professional fulfilment.

The Aretē Philosophy
To paraphrase the late Henry Ford, ‘Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you are usually right’. The potential for greatness lies within each of us, and the scope for success is confined only by the limits of our mind. I believe that Aretē – the achievement of peak performance and fulfilment of your highest human potential – is accessible to all individuals. As the obsession with success in its many forms continues to become more concentrated and pervasive, so too does its apparent elusiveness. We are fortunate to live in an age of abundance, of infinite possibility – and yet research continues to indicate that we appear to be ever less fulfilled. In order to achieve success, one must pursue it effectively, and in order to do so, one must first define the concept in subjective terms. What does ‘success’ mean to you?
At Aretē Psychology and Coaching, I am dedicated to working with my clients to identify their individual needs and goals, and collaborating to set tangible benchmarks using goal focused methods and individualised strategies to assist you in overcoming specific challenges, personal and professional. I coach my clients to understand their key motivations and the fundamental drives behind their ambition, and how to harness their strengths and unique talents to catalyse their success.
The road to success is not a one-size-fits-all endeavour. At Aretē Psychology and Coaching, I am here to offer support and coach effective techniques for sustainable development and continued fulfilment.
Burgeoning research on the subject matter of happiness and well-being suggest that positive affect may in fact precede success, and indicates that the relationship is at least bidirectional, with both tenets acting as mutual reinforcers.
Research has shown that people who cultivate a positive mind-set demonstrate superior performance and elicit favourable business outcomes. Perseverance in pursuing long-term goals with sustained effort and hard work is shown to predict achievement, with self-efficacy beliefs influencing motivation, persistence and resilience and ultimately the achievement of success.
Invest in your vision and learn to apply psychological principles with precision and focus; success is borne of clarity, determination, drive and execution.
